A Collection of Resources for Promoting and Protecting Health
The Turning Point Web site and CD-ROM Toolkit is a collection of more than
100 resources, from comprehensive planning tools to publications to curricula to Web sites filled with useful information. Our concept for the Toolkit was to collect and promote these tools to a broad audience of public health practitioners and partners.

THE APPROACH:
Essential Tools for Making a Difference in People’s Lives

The Robert Wood Johnson Turning Point program was a multi-state collaborative effort to advance public health goals, especially in five key areas: Collaborative Leadership, Social Marketing, Performance Management, Information Technology and Public Health Law. Program participants and leading national partners working through these five National Excellence Collaboratives developed more than 100 resources during the grant period. The Watson Group provided marketing services to all the Collaboratives, particularly to the Social Marketing and Leadership Development National Excellence Collaboratives. This final marketing project ensured that Turning Point’s legacy, brought together in one collection, would endure, and be readily available to anyone over the Web. It provides a means to efficiently disseminate the resources to public health practitioners, as well as their partners in local communities, businesses, hospital corporations, nonprofit groups, minority coalitions, religious organizations, international health agencies and many others.
